Third painting of the "Voyage d'une Femme" serie
"The Mask"
Vienna 1995,  Oil on canvas
100 x 150 cm / 39,3 x 59 inches

The woman in a French party dress hides behind the mask. She faces us, we can not see who she is.
In her hand she holds a snake. The tongue of a snake is double, which means loss of paradise.
The lilies symbolize body, soul and spirit.

Will she loose her paradise because she listens to evil people, to gossip?
What's behind the mask? Another?
